Melissa Rycroft Expecting First Child!

According to People, the former “Dancing with the Stars” and “Bachelor” contestant is pregnant with her first child.

The 27-year-old reality star wed insurance agent Tye Strickland in December.

In a statement to Us Weekly about the baby news, Rycroft — who is due in February — said the pregnancy wasn’t planned.

“It was a shock. We weren’t even trying,” she told the mag. “It’s the most wonderful surprise in the world. It’s such a blessing.”

This marks the first child for the couple.

The reality star — who was infamously jilted on national TV by then-“Bachelor” Jason Mesnick, when Mesnick dumped her for a second shot at love with now-wife Molly Malaney — will be back on the small screen as co-host of the upcoming “The Bachelor Pad,” which premiers on ABC on August 9.
