As the gossip builds, clues continue to roll in as to what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be wearing on their wedding day!
Couture designer Michael Costello tells Access Hollywood he was asked to outfit six of Kardashian’s gal pals who are attending the star-studded nuptials this weekend, including Brittny Gastineau, Larsa Pippen, Blac Chyna and Carla Dibello.
The unifying theme: all of the women requested “Marie Antoinette” inspired gowns.
“They all wanted little elements of something very Gothic, romantic, masquerade [like]. They were all stern about using lace… and having mermaid bottoms,” Costello told Access.
The former “Project Runway: All-Star” contestant designed at least one dress for each of Kim’s friends, to be worn either at the rehearsal dinner and/or at the reception the night after.
“Carla has one look, Brittny has two, Larsa has two and Chyna has two,” Costello explained.
Although he declined to divulge the price tag on the orders, Costello admitted his creations for the group took anywhere from one to nine days to complete… and the groom had a say!
“I’ve heard Kanye has a lot of decision making in who shows up at the wedding and that’s why I got scared for a little while when I heard that,” Costello revealed. “Kanye said no one is allowed into the wedding unless they are wearing a designer gown.”
The LA-based fashion maven is also over the moon about another endeavor he’s working on — with the bride.
“I did make some sketches for her for another event that we’re talking about in the future,” he added.
