LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

The King of Pop is setting his sights on a new domain — fashion.

According to People, Michael Jackson intends to collaborate with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier on a fall line to be launched exclusively at LA celeb boutique Kitson.

“It’s the merging of the King of Pop with the king of fashion,” Audigier told People. “Something explosive is going to happen.”

The designer had even more kind words for Jackson.

“Michael Jackson is an international pop icon who has had a huge following throughout his career. I think people will think it’s hip to wear his line,” Audigier said. “Through all his ups and downs people still love him. He still has a huge fan base.”
