“I have a 100 percent faith that she will [stay sober.]” Michael Lohan told Dr. Drew Pinksy, who guest hosted the “The Joy Behar Show” on Wednesday night.
“When she was in jail, there were certain things that happened that really relieved me. I really believe that she’s got a connection with God again,” Michael continued. “I just pray that Dina can get on the same page with me because we both need to be there for her.”
Michael warned that the people whom Lindsay surrounds herself with in the future would be pivotal to her maintenance of sobriety.
“I think from here on in, an important element… is that people, places and things in her life have to be the right ones. She has to make sure she surrounds herself with people that care about her and not about the business and her career,” he said. “I don’t think I need to be in her life when it comes to the business. I don’t think Dina does. I think leave that to the professionals.”
According to a Fox News report, Dina is arranging a series post-rehab interviews and product placement opportunities for Lindsay. A Fox News source claims Lindsay could earn up to $130,000 for these reported deals. Fox News points out that the first post-rehab photograph of Lindsay featured a pair of V-MODA headphones and a Rockstar Energy Drink; they add that she is reportedly likely being paid by Rockstar, but not by V-MODA. Rockstar was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Fox News.
In related Lindsay news, the 24-year-old actress had her driver’s license reinstated on Monday, Access Hollywood has confirmed. Lindsay was spotted a Los Angeles area DMV on Wednesday, where she was required to show proof of insurance in order to get her license back.
