LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Michael Lohan has taken a DNA test to determine if an alleged daughter is his, the New York Post reports.

“It was a swab, a paternity test,” Lohan told the Post on Monday.

Pictures of the alleged 13-year-old daughter were revealed this week in OK! along with those of her mother.

Lohan has admitted to a 1995 relationship with the woman during a break from now-ex-wife Dina.

“Yes, I was with [her], when I was separated from Dina,” he told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on “The Billy Bush Show” last week.

But Lohan seems doubtful of her claims.

“If the test is found to be negative she’s gonna be sued for libel and defamation,” he told the Post. “She said I was the only one she was with but I find that hard to believe. She was with a number of men after me.”

Lohan went on to question the woman’s motivations.

“Why did she wait so long? Is it because she wants money?” he asked in the Post interview. “She said she wants her daughter to have a relationship with my kids - especially Lindsay and Ali - and that’s pretty sick. I will never force my children to meet with Ashley.”

Lohan reportedly “doesn’t plan on discussing” the paternity test with his famous brood until the results are in.
