LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Angelina Jolie has style. So does Sarah Jessica Parker.
But apparently, neither one of them knows couture quite like Michelle Obama, as the first lady hopeful has been dubbed this year’s Best Dressed by Vanity Fair.
In making the decision to put Obama atop Vanity Fair’s 2008 International Best Dressed List, which was released on Tuesday, editors called Michelle “our commander in sheath.”
Also making the cut were the likes of Tilda Swinton, Kate Middleton, Ivanka Trump and “Sex and The City” star Sarah Jessica Parker, who “made Blahnik iconic,” Vanity Fair noted.
Not to be left out, some of Hollywood’s A-list men also earned spots on the list, including Daniel Craig, Diddy, Kanye West and David Beckham – because he’s “ab fab,” according to Vanity Fair. Also making the list - NBC’s own Matt Lauer.
And showing that style isn’t just for individuals, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made the cut as one of the year’s Best Dressed couples, earning the honor, “because it’s all in the family,” the magazine said.
