LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michelle-Mug-BlurbCaption Michelle-Mug-BlurbTroubled “Lost” actress Michelle (real first name, “Mayte“) Rodriguez turned herself in yesterday to the Lynnwood jail on Sunday to start serving a six month sentence for a probation violation, which stemmed from a number of crimes, including hit and run and DUI.

Michelle had been sentenced on October 10, specifically for failing to complete community service and alcohol monitoring as part of her probation from a previous drunk driving incident.

Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell had previously ordered her to report to the county jail on Christmas Eve.

Back in October, Michelle “admitted violation of her probation by failing to provide proof of community service and by consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol monitoring device,” said City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan at that time. “She did file a document that said she completed community service on September 25th, but we obtained evidence that she was in New York that day.”

Mitchell ordered Michelle to complete the community service cleaning streets and highways, and prohibited her from being granted early release for work furlough or electronic monitoring.

Michelle had previously been sentenced to 60 days in jail in May 2006, also for probation violation, but she was released an hour after her booking due to overcrowding in the jail system.

But Michelle’s not alone as the only network star behind bars this Christmas. Fox’s “24” leading actor Kiefer Sutherland is also in the midst of serving his own 48 day sentence.
