Michelle Williams & Jason Segel’s Romance Heats Up

Caption Michelle Williams / Jason SegelLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michelle Williams appears to have a budding romance with “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Muppets” star Jason Segel.
“It’s been a few months,” a friend of the Oscar-nominated actress told People, claiming the stars are an item.
“I’ve never seen her happier,” the source added.
Michelle and Jason reportedly met through her longtime friend, “Cougar Town” star Busy Phillips, who also co-starred with Jason in “Freaks and Geeks.”
Jason, 32, and Michelle, 31, have seen together in Brooklyn and Los Angeles in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, Jason Tweeted, “If I fell in love would you guys be happy?” – but then removed the post.
The actor recently opened up to Parade about dating, saying, “I don’t want to have a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend. I have no desire to pick a random girl. I want the right girl. There are plenty of opportunities, but I would rather have the right one.”
Michelle has a daughter, Matilda, 6, with the late Heath Ledger.
