“The Hunger Games” already has legions of devoted fans who will be lining up in the coming weeks for the highly anticipated movie, and for those still on the fence – Miley Cyrus thinks boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and his co-star Josh Huctherson will get the ladies to the theaters.

“I’m so excited, this year has just been amazing and Liam deserves it. There’s so many people out there that I think don’t even know what he’s capable of and I can’t wait until people see it!” Miley told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night.

“He loves making movies and it’s not about any of the fame or anything else other than he just loves filmmaking,” she said of her 22-year-old Australian boyfriend, who she co-starred with in “The Last Song” in 2010.

“He ups the hunk factor,” Shaun said of Liam, who plays Gale Hawthorne in the series.

“He’s going to get the girls to the theater,” Miley beamed. “Him and Josh.”

When Shaun caught up with Liam on the red carpet, the actor couldn’t contain his excitement and gratitude.

“I feel so fortunate to be where I am. I’m so happy, I can’t believe I’m a part of this project,” he told Shaun. “It’s pretty incredible and I feel extremely fortunate to be where I am. I’m very, very happy.”

He was also happy to have his girlfriend by his side on his big night.

“She’s very supportive,” Liam said of Miley. “Number one fan right there!”

“The Hunger Games” opens on March 23, 2012.
