LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
On her new album, fans will find it’s finally just Miley being Miley.
“Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus is set to release her first full-length album under her own name, according to Billboard.
The new album, “Breakout,” will be released on July 22.
Miley’s previous two albums were released under her Disney moniker, “Hannah Montana.”
“Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert” is currently No. 32 on the Billboard 200, while “Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus” (a former chart topper) is currently No. 66.
The first single from the new album, “7 Things,” debuted last week on the radio to major fanfare, and was quickly one of the most added songs at Top 40 radio outlets.
The angst-ridden single, which chronicles a painful breakup, drops July 22. CLICK HERE to listen to it!
