LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Jay Leno is pulling out the big guns for his first week on the job at his new show on NBC.
Tom Cruise, Halle Berry and Miley Cyrus will be among the superstars to appear on “The Jay Leno Show” during its first week when the show debuts September 14.
While neither star will join Leno in his new studio, they will both be featured in a new segment, “10 @ 10,” which “connects Jay with celebs and newsmakers around the world,” a NBC spokesperson told Access Hollywood.
Despite reports to the contrary, Miley will not be performing as a musical guest.
Cruise will appear in the segment on Leno’s second night – September 15 – while Miley will appear the next night on September 16.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be the first guest on the opening night of “The Jay Leno Show.” In addition, Halle Berry will join Leno for the show on September 17.
Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West will also hit the Leno stage as the show’s first musical guests on September 14.
Bruce Hornsby and Eric Clapton will also appear as musical guests during the first week, appearing on September 17.
