Supermodel Miranda Kerr doesn’t look like a gal who is down in the dumps over her split from husband Orlando Bloom.
After three years of marriage, the couple announced they’re separating last month, but she’s keeping a big smile on her face.
Healthy Hollywood must say she’s got one rocking body that I’m sure Orlando will miss.
The Victoria’s Secret beauty did her first post-split magazine cover for the December issue of SELF. The 30-year-old Australian model shows off her enviably toned abs in a crop top, adding, “Happiness is a choice we make.”
According to her interview in SELF, Miranda tries to keep a positive attitude, even during the most trying times.
“If I’m having a challenging moment, I jump for joy. Literally, after a minute I feel better and after a few minutes, I’m really happy. Everything else just drops off, it gets me out my head and into body, and it makes me feel present,” she notes.
Good food, exercise and a healthy attitude are Miranda’s simple trick!
“Before breakfast, I have warm water with a squeeze of lemon. Then I’ll have a cold-pressed green juice from Juice Press with cucumber, celery, lemon, kale and aloe vera. After that, I’ll make an energizing smoothie with lots of ingredients, including chia seeds, raw cacao, goji berries, fresh coconut water and protein powder. It’s a recipe I made up. I call it the ‘Miranda Mix,’” she reveals to SELF.
Her live-well mantra might be one we all should remember!
“How many times a day do you think a negative thought about yourself? You need to forgive yourself for being unkind,” she continues. “I say prayers of forgiveness every day. ‘I forgive you, please forgive me, let’s forgive each other, let’s love each other, let’s be at peace with each other and ourselves.’”
Healthy Hollywood gives Miranda and her healthy outlook and lifestyle big thumbs up! Keep smiling, girl!
