LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Orlando Brown, a Disney Channel star that was reported missing earlier this week, has been found.

On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the “That’s So Raven,” star had not been seen since leaving his manager’s house on Tuesday morning. The actor missed several appointments and meetings for a photo shoot he had on Wednesday, his publicist told People.

Brown, however, says he is alright, and takes responsibility for not letting his manager and publicist know where he was, according to a letter the actor released to Access Hollywood.

“I would like to first off thank all of my real fans that sent my publicist and my friends and family their love and support,” he wrote. “I just read a lot of the posts that were attached to the articles about me disappearing and it bothers me how some people can be so harsh. It was wrong for me to not inform my manager… and my publicist… about my whereabouts, especially when I am usually so routine and big on communication, but I felt a little lost and needed to get away.”

Brown goes on to explain that an “incident” occurred with “recording artist” The Dream. The actor, who noted he is recording an album, said his manager was “lied to and told” that he was going to open up for The Dream at a Wendy Williams event.

“I was just really bothered at how we as entertainers are so disrespected at times,” he wrote. “When I was told that I couldn’t perform and that The Dream did not want to perform if I opened, that really hurt,” Brown wrote.

Brown said the situation that resulted that evening “got a bit overwhelming and I needed to be alone.”

“I apologize for any problems this caused,” his note continued. “Thank you again for your love and support.”
