LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Wolfgang Puck is ready to feed the well-dressed masses after the Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater.

He has a huge shopping list for the Governors Ball, and says the food at this year’sBall is a bit different than in the past: 16-hundred pounds of lobster, 30 pounds of black truffles at 12-hundred dollars a pound, 20 pounds of white truffles at two-thousand dollars a pound, 80 sides of New York strip loin, 60 striped bass, 40 sides of wild salmon to smoke and on and on.

Puck says many of the dishes he’s preparing for the Governors Ball are ones that celebrities order in his restaurants.

This year, the 15-hundred celebrities and their people can watch Wolfgang Puck and his crew prepare their post-Oscars meal because the cooking area will be right in the middle of the fancy Governor’s Ball.

Puck says “it’s going to smell fantastic.”
