Jude Law’s new baby mama has been revealed as model Samantha Burke.
A lawyer for the brunette beauty confirmed she is carrying the actor’s fourth child.
“Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall,” the model’s legal rep said in a statement to TMZ.
The lawyer said Law, who has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, has stepped up to his responsibilities.
“Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy,” the statement concluded.
On online model Web site, Model Mayhem, the 5’ 10” Burke, who is based in Pensacola, Fla., reportedly listed her interests as “fashion and photography.”
“But of course I just love to be in front of the camera,” she reportedly wrote.
According to the profile believed to be Burke’s, she also claimed to have an interest in Law’s profession.
“I worked in New York City this past summer of 07’ and i’m now across the river in Jersey City . I attended acting classes at the New York Studio for Film & Television,” she reportedly wrote. “It was a commercial and soap opera based course. I loved it! I wouldn’t mind modeling AND acting.”
Burke has reportedly modeled for Jantzen Swimwear.
As for her baby interests, Burke appears to have registered for an organic cotton sheet savor (priced $9.99), detergent, ($22.49), and a 10-pack of diaper bibs ($19.99) at Babies ‘R’ Us.
Earlier this week, a rep for Law confirmed he had a baby on the way, but called the situation “private.”
“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,” a rep for the actor stated to Entertainment Weekly. “Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”
