Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon Shoot Down Engagement Rumors

According to an online report, the Oscar nominated actor is set to propose to the Oscar winning actress, but a source close to the couple told Access Hollywood that there’s no engagement on the horizon for the Hollywood power couple.
According to PopEater’s Rob Shuter, Jake is about to surprise Reese with something sparkly and shiny under her Christmas tree.
“Jake is planning to pop the question over the holidays and couldn’t be more excited,” a Pop Eater source claimed.
According to the source, Jake is now part of Reese’s family.
“Her children love him, his family loves her and now it’s time to make it official,” the source continued.
Despite PopEater’s report of a looming engagement, a source close to the couple told Access Hollywood that this report is “not true.”
When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for Jake was not immediately available for comment.
