Student reporters looking to cover Hollywood’s most glamorous event may have the chance to hit the red carpet next year, thanks to mtvU.
The network and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are holding their second annual “Oscar Correspondent Contest” for college journalists, taking video entries from now until December 18.
Three winning teams will be chosen and flown to Los Angeles to cover pre-show events for the 82nd Academy Awards, with one winning team chosen to take a spot on the red carpets at the awards themselves on Saturday, March 6.
