NASHVILLE, Tenn. --
Kellie Pickler made a splash on the CMA red carpet last night when she showed off her new red locks.
And the singer, who dyed her hair earlier this month, told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell she was happy to join a famous country singer in the red club.
“It’s different,” Kellie told Nancy. “I wanted to try something new. We got a lot of blondes in country music, so I thought I’m gonna give Reba [McEntire] some company.”
Kellie, who calls her new color “kind of like an auburn,” revealed she’s never tried red before.
“I was actually in cosmetology. I haven’t done this color, but I like it,” she said. “It’s different.”
