“I started rejecting the proper way to sing and I started singing,” he told the newspaper of his teenage training as an opera singer. “I was listening to more and more rock music and wondering, ‘Wow, how does that person do that with their voice?’”

Court records show Michael Jackson’s father is seeking an allowance from his son’s estate.
An attorney for Joe Jackson filed papers in Los Angeles on Friday seeking a stipend, saying there was no apparent reason for the administrators of the estate to not seek an allowance for the 81-year-old family patriarch.
