Access was the first to introduce America to Dylan Hartung, his celebrity fan club and his terrific attitude in his battle against cancer.

Since our story in November, Dylan is doing better, having gained weight and a head of hair.

The fight continues but so does the inspiration.

“I know how hard it is just to be a movie star,” Dylan told Access. “I’m just about a movie star right now.”

Adorable 7-year-old Dylan, who has had famous visitors like Angelina Jolie and fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman visit, got his favorite surprise visit for Mother’s Day!

The Ronald McDonald House granted Dylan’s wish — to have his grandmother flown in from Austrailia.

I’m very surprised that she got here,” Dylan laughed. “How’d you get here?”

“He looks wonderful,” said June, Dylan’s grandmother.

Grandson and grandmother gave each other a heartfelt hug.

“The best thing is to see the smile on his face, so, that makes our Mother’s Day so much better,” said Melissa Hartung, Dylan’s mom.

But little Dylan is still battling neuroblastoma — a rare form of cancer — and needs funding for his treatments.

“I’ll be back in New York in a couple of weeks and definitely will be touching base with him again,” Nicole Kidman told us. “He’s doing really well.”

And Dylan can’t wait to see Nicole again. Last time, they went to the movies together!

The sweet boy even gave us a message for the star: “Next time you come over, I’ll be very happy to see you,” Dylan said. “And then you could meet my Nana.”
