LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
After being hospitalized with a bout of pneumonia, Nicole Richie returned home late last week and is recuperating.
And the starlet’s hospitalization apparently capped off a busy stretch for her rocker beau Joel Madden.
“So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week. But don’t worry all is well and we are home with no problems,” Joel wrote in a message on the Good Charlotte Web site on Friday.
On November 18, a rep for Nicole confirmed to Access she had indeed checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she was “being treated for pneumonia.”
In the days leading up to her hospital stay, Nicole posted a message on her Twitter page noting that she hadn’t been felling well.
“ok cold, it’s been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving,” she wrote on November 15.
