Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has come quite a ways since her days of wild hookups and arrests on the beaches of the “Jersey Shore.”
Now mom to a son and pregnant with her second child, the 26-year-old stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, where guest co-host Hoda Kotb commented on how much more composed Snooki seems now, as compared to her past interviews.
“I was probably drunk!” Snooki – whose new book, “Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way,” is available now – told Hoda and Kit Hoover of her interviews. “I did every interview drunk… it was literally like a party stage.
“It was like, ‘This is awesome.’ So I would drink all the time,” she added.
While that phase of her life is behind her, the young mom – who is expecting a baby girl with fiancé Jionni LaValle – doesn’t regret her raucous past.
“I don’t regret it because it’s brought me to where I am today. It’s made me the person I am today,” she said. “So I had to go through all of that crap to get to where I am.”
And she’s already figured out what she’ll say to her children if they happen to see clips of her wilder days.
“If they see it, I’m just gonna be like, ‘This is what not to do. Learn from my mistakes. And if you ever need me, just call me. Don’t be scared and get in car with somebody else,’” she said.
