Nicollette Sheridan To Be Killed Off ‘Desperate Housewives’?

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Nicollette Sheridan at the Emmys Are Nicollette Sheridan’s days as a “Desperate” diva coming to an end?

According to TV Guide, “the ‘Desperate Housewives’ character Edie Brit will be leaving Wisteria Lane,” a rep for ABC said.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a spokesperson for the network had no additional comment.

However, according to E! Online, Edie will soon meet her maker.

In an upcoming episode, Edie finds out that her husband, Dave, is plotting to kill her – and nearly succeeds. But as she escapes his plan, she is involved in a fatal accident involving a car and an electrical wire, E! reports, based on a rumored script.

Sheridan has been on the ABC show since it debuted in 2004.
