Orlando Bloom On His ‘Pirates’ Future: ‘Will Is Swimming At The Bottom Of The Ocean’

Caption Orlando Bloom poses at the ‘Sympathy for Delicious’ dinner in Sundance on Friday, January 22, 2010Orlando Bloom won’t be returning to the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, the star told MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
“No, definitely not,” he said, explaining that he believes his character, William Turner, “is sort of swimming around with the fish at the bottom of the ocean.”
Still, he added he’s excited to see Johnny Depp play Captain Jack Sparrow once again.
“I had a great time making those movies,” Orlando said. “I just really wanted to do different things, but I think it’s going to be great. Whatever Johnny does, I think it’s fantastic.”
Fellow “Pirates” co-star Keira Knightley previously stated that she would not be returning to the franchise.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” directed by Rob Marshall (“Nine”), will set sail on May 20, 2011.
