“Oh, yeah, you know, my street cred went way up with the [Oscar] promos,” Anne joked to Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos on Thursday, referring to her “Don’t Cry For Me” / “Rump Shaker” rendition, released in advance of her Oscar co-hosting duties.
“I’m turning down record deals right and left,” she added with her trademark smile.
Anne admitted to Maria that some of the material she and co-host James Franco have shared publicly will actually make it to the Oscar stage, adding of the rehearsals, “It’s been a lot of fun.”
Also fun? The nickname a member of the Oscars telecast gave the pair.
“One of the writers labeled us Frankaway, that kind of like way that you put celebrity names together,” Anne revealed.
Recently, on AccessHollywood Live, actor Dave Franco, revealed a family secret – older brother James is a “horrible” singer, but James, who is expected to show off his vocal abilities at the Oscars, said his younger sibling was mistaken.
“I’m calling him out. You’re a liar!” James laughed. “James Franco can sing!”
