LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Maya Rudolph is inching closer to the delivery of her third child with her longtime partner, “Magnolia” writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson, and the hilarious “Saturday Night Live” alum says she’s thrilled about their impending latest arrival.

“I’m excited,” a gorgeous Maya told Access Hollywood, beaming, at the junket for her upcoming comedy, “Bridesmaids” in Los Angeles on Friday. “The exciting part is not knowing who’s coming. You have to wait nine months for a surprise, but then it’s a good payoff because it really is a surprise.

“The sonograms don’t help, because you always try to see the baby’s face, and my babies usually do this in all their ultrasounds,” she continued, while crossing her arms in front of her face with a laugh.

The 38-year-old actress stars alongside fellow “SNL” cast member Kristen Wiig in the highly anticipated film, and Maya jokingly said she’d been inspired to add a stipulation to her future film contracts after witnessing Kristen’s outrageous sex scene with “Mad Men” hunk Jon Hamm.

“I didn’t work with Hamm in this movie, but I knew him enough already.” Maya told Access. “Now, it’s in my contract that all my sex scenes are with Jon Hamm.

“I hope that’s OK,” she playfully asked Kristen, who was also in attendance at the junket.

“It’s fine,” Kristen answered. “We’ll share…”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jon and Kristen’s onscreen romp took roughly 12 hours to film.

“I remember, it was our last day of shooting and I mean, it’s so silly. It was more funny than anything,” Kristen told Access at the “Bridesmaids” premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday. “We’re like, ‘How else can he throw me around?’

“It was like, ‘This is my job! What’s happening?!” she added with a laugh.

“Bridesmaids,” which also stars Ellie Kemper of “The Office” fame, Rose Bryne and “Mike & Molly” actress Melissa McCarthy, hits theaters on May 13.
