LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Paris Hilton has finally responded to Republican presidential hopeful John McCain’s campaign ad of last week, which pitted his opponent, Democrat Barack Obama, as a super-celebrity in between footage of the heiress and Britney Spears.
In a clip on comedic Web site, FunnyorDie.com, Paris’ response begins with a photo of John McCain shown among pictures of the “Golden Girls” and the Crypt Keeper from “Tales from the Crypt.”
Like McCain’s own ad, an announcer narrates the beginning of the clip. While McCain’s clip called Obama “the biggest celebrity in the world,” Paris’ version refers to McCain as “the oldest celebrity in the world, like super old, old enough to remember when dancing was a sin and beer was served in a bucket.”
Paris then appears on screen in a bathing suit, while sunning herself from a lounge chair.
“Hey America, I’m Paris Hilton and I’m a celebrity too, only I’m not from the olden days and I’m not promising change like that other guy. I’m just hot,” she smiles.
The heiress goes on to suggest that McCain’s ad clearly indicates she is entering the presidential race.
“That wrinkly white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I’m running for President. So thanks for the endorsement, white-haired dude,” she states. “I want America to know that I’m like, totally ready to lead.”
After explaining her energy policy, a reference to the McCain ad which lashed out at Obama’s policy, Paris declares, “I’ll see you at the debates b****es!”
“Now if’ you’ll excuse me, I have to pick out a vice president,” she continues. “I’m thinking Rihanna. I’ll see you at the White House. Oh, and I might paint it pink. I hope that’s cool with you guys.”

But the story didn’t end there. The McCain campaign jumped back into the fray, with spokesman Tucker Bounds seizing the opportunity to take another dig at his candidate’s rival.
In a statement, Bounds said, “It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain’s ‘all of the above’ approach to America’s energy crisis, including both alternatives and drilling. Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan.”
As of Tuesday night, no response from the Obama camp.
