Patrick Dempsey & Donatella Versace To Step Out In Rome

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Patrick Dempsey has one rather blonde date for the Italian premiere of his new movie “Made of Honor,” and it’s not his wife.

Dempsey will hit the red carpet with none other than fashion mogul and friend, Donatella Versace, according to E! Online.

“She’s wonderful, really quite for the most part. And funny,” Dempsey told reporters, according to E!. “She’s coming with me to the premiere in Rome.”

Dempsey currently serves as the face of Versace, fronting the 2008’s spring/summer line.

Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, who has photographed the likes of Kate Moss, Diana, Princess of Wales, and Madonna, shot the campaign.

In “Made of Honor,” Dempsey plays a man named Tom Bailey who is in love with his best friend, Claire. When a rich Scotsman sweeps her off her feet, things get interesting when Claire asks Tom to be her Maid of Honor.

The romantic comedy opens May 2.
