LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Looking fit and healthy, Patrick Swayze called his fight against a cancer a “miracle” as he made his way through LAX on Sunday.

“How are you feeling?” a photographer asked the actor.

“Great. I’m cooking,” Swayze said.

“Health is good?” the photog followed up.

“I’m a miracle dude – I don’t know why,” Swayze said with a thumbs up and a smile.

Swayze, 55, was en route to Chicago where he is filming his new A&E series, “The Beast.”

In March, Swayze announced he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Following his diagnosis, Swayze and his wife, Lisa Niemi, released a statement to People updating his fans on his condition.

“I am continuing treatment at Stanford and the great news is I continue to respond well,” the statement said. “We’re thrilled and grateful for the positive response Patrick has shown towards his treatment.”
