Sir James Paul McCartney is known as the most musically prolific of the legendary members of the Beatles. The Guinness Book of World Records lists him as the best-selling composer and recording artist of all time.

Although the Beatles were officially together for less than 10 years, the mark left by their music is indelible and Paul deserves much of the credit for that. He remains one of the most influential names in the music business, as he continues to record and produce studio albums as a solo artist.

Of late, he has been in the headlines for the less positive story of his pending divorce to Heather Mills, which has been a constant source of tabloid stories.
