Pink: OK, But 'Sore' Following Fall At Show In Germany
FRIDAY UPDATE: Pink Tweeted the following updates on Friday morning:
“okay. full steam ahead people.no pain, no gain. or is it no brain, no pain? either way, i will be on that stage, even if i have to crawl:)”
“and a HUMONGOUS thank you to everyone who sent their love and concern, nikki is also doing fine. i will buy her an ice cream later.”
Pink is recovering after sustaining an injury during her show that required a hospital visit, in Nurnberg, Germany, on Thursday night.
The pop star, who was on her Funhouse tour in Europe — a trek that includes seeing the singer in a host of acrobatic acts — had an accident and was forced to end her show early.
“To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way.I am embarassed and very sorry,” she Tweeted on Thursday.
Pink went on to explain – while en route to the hospital – that as a result of not being secured in her equipment, she fell and hurt herself.
“I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine,” she wrote, adding, “didn’t get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays.I hope it at least looked cool!!!”
Luckily, Pink’s accident wasn’t a bad one, as she Tweeted a short while later that she was somewhat better.
“Ok all my lovers out there- nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore,” she wrote.
Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, went on to confirm that his wife was doing well in a post on his own Twitter account.
“Fyi @pink is out of the hospital and all good. Just got the s*** kicked out of her by the barrier. Steel barrier-1 Pink-0,” he wrote.
