PARIS, France -- Pippa Middleton is making headlines and will reportedly be investigated after she was photographed in a car on Sunday with a friend who was allegedly pointing a gun at photographers.
According to Britain’s The Sun – who published the photographs of Middleton and three male friends in an Audi convertible driving in Paris while the driver pointed what appears to be a gun at the paparazzi – the 28-year-old sister of Duchess Kate and sister-in-law of Prince William could face charges.
A Sun source claims that the Paris Judicial Police department is “poised to launch a probe” in the incident.
If the weapon turns out to be real, all four passengers could reportedly face up to seven years in prison and two years if the weapon is fake.
“If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted. Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation,” a source reportedly told the paper.
Middleton has yet to speak out about the incident.
