Pistol Annies, made up of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, are back with their second album and they’re dishing on the inspiration behind one of their new songs.

The ladies stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday in New York City, where they told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover that Angaleena’s bra inspired the track, “Don’t Talk About Him, Tina.”

“It started off about a bra, a bra inspired this song.” Miranda told Billy and Kit.

While touring, Angaleena uses a little extra support while onstage, but her bra has gotten a lot of attention – and become an honorary member of the band.

“She’s the fourth Annie, her name is Mother Bra,” Angaleena said of the inspiration behind the song. “It’s like a four-hooked, huge, size-of-a-human-head thing that I wear for performances, hideous!”

Ashley explained that the bra has also been known to end up in some questionable locations

“We were in Mexico and we woke up and Mother Bra was on top of the pool. In Vegas, the front desk called and said, ‘There’s a bra down here,’” she said with a laugh.

As for the song, the group’s friend, Tina, had an encounter with Angaleena’s bra that kick started the whole thing.

“Our friend Tina was on the bus and Mother Bra was laid out on the stove like she owned the place, like always, and she picked it up and she was like, ‘Oh, whose is this?’ and I was like, ‘Don’t talk about it Tina!’” Angaleena recounted. “So then we started saying that about everything. And then one day we were like, we’re just going to have to write this song.”

Miranda is glad to have Mother Bra along for the ride.

“We don’t need those things flying around in public,” she said of Angaleena’s assets.

Pistol Annies’ second album, “Annie Up,” is in stores and available for download today.
