LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Not even an eight-months-along baby bump gets in the way of Marisa Miller’s sexy style.
The Sports Illustrated model and Victoria’s Secret Angel, who is expecting a baby boy, posed nude for Allure magazine in a new series of black and white photos.
Marisa admitted she was not shy about showing off her new curves and actually embraced her new shape.
“I always felt, even before I got pregnant, that it’s better to accentuate your curves. Obviously, you can’t suck it in, but it’s important to really show off the belly,” the bombshell told the magazine.
The stunning mom-to-be – who is expecting first child with husband Griffin Guess — confessed she tried to keep an active workout routine by paddle boarding during the first trimester and doing Pilates during the second.
One of the model’s top priorities throughout the pregnancy was preventing the dreaded stretch marks.
“I’d been on Molly Sims’ blog a lot—she was in her third trimester when I had just gotten pregnant—and she posted this recipe: shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and vitamin E. I made it myself, boiling the ingredients, and I poured it into mason jars. I’ve loved the community of women who share their tips,” Marisa revealed.
She also added that she had to change up her hair and skin-care routine as a preventative measure.
“When I found out I was pregnant, the first thing that had to go was the acne medicine and chemical-filled face washes and lotions. I made sure everything was natural and organic.”
The weight gain did not scare Marisa, but instead helped her embrace all the changes.
“I had never even owned a scale before, but gaining weight is part of charting your progress. Yes, I was seeing numbers I’d never seen before, but I let go of that because I had a new goal and focus. It’s an adjustment, but it helps having a lot of positive support.”
