LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Radio personality Adam Carolla will lace up his dancing shoes for the new season of ABC’s "Dancing With the Stars," Carolla announced today.

The funnyman will take to the ballroom floor with blonde dancing sensation Julianne Hough, who nabbed last season’s top prize alongside racecar driver, Helio Castroneves.

Hough will no doubt be looking to three-peat with the jock, as she won Season 4 with speed skating champ, Apolo Anton Ohno.

Carolla made the announcement on his Free FM breakfast show in Los Angeles on Monday.

The rest of the new "Dancing" contestants will be announced tonight on ABC during the season finale of "Dance War: Bruno Vs. Carrie Ann."

Meanwhile, in related news, rumors have been circulating that Florence Henderson, formerly of "The Brady Bunch" may enter the competition too. It’s already clear she is a big fan of the show, having been spotted in the "Dancing" audience several times last season.

Also rumored for the show? Figure skating champ Kristi Yamaguchi, actress Marlee Matlin and Pricilla Presley.
