Movie audiences are showing more appetite for Shrek than for ‘Sex’ over Memorial Day weekend.
The animated sequel “Shrek Forever After” remained the No. 1 movie for a second weekend with $43.3 million from Friday to Sunday. The film raised its domestic total to $133.1 million.
Jake Gyllenhaal may have bulked up for his leading role in “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” but the star joked to Access Hollywood’s Tim Vincent that the real workout was taking care of his hair.

Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story 3” and Walt Disney Pictures’/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” are headed to ShoWest 2010 which will be held March 15 - 18, 2010, in Las Vegas. “Toy Story 3” will be screened for ShoWest attendees on Tuesday, March 16, while “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” will be screened on Thursday, March 18.
