Who do you think has sold more albums in Britain than anyone else? The Beatles? The Stones? Elton John?
Queen’s Greatest Hits has sold nearly five and a-halfmillion copies since its release.
That’s well ahead of the number-two best-seller, “Sergeant Pepper” by the Beatles. Oasis is third, followed by Dire Straits and Abba’s “Gold.”
Simply Red makes the top 20 at number eleven, Dido is number 15. James Blunt already has the 19th best-selling album of all time.
The Stones aren’t on the list at all.
