It appears Reese Witherspoon caught a little of the Robert Pattinson fever while filming her upcoming movie, “Water for Elephants,” with the hunky “Twilight Saga” star – almost quite literally!

Despite Robert being sick with a cold for most the movie’s intimate scenes, the newly married 35-year-old actress said she thoroughly enjoyed herself while filming with her new leading man.

“He’s super duper sexy,” Reese told Access Hollywood at the movie’s New York premiere on Sunday night of working with Robert.

“Let’s just get something straight, it’s still a sex scene with Rob Pattinson!” she said of dealing with his cold. “I was having a very good time.”

“Oh, you were going to say something way better, Reese had a way better thing to say,” Robert told Access.

“No, I only text you that, I wasn’t going to say that out loud,” Reese joked.

“No, I know that she secretly likes it… she likes it a little bit dirty… with green mucus, it’s her thing,” the 24-year-old British star said with a grin.

All kidding aside, Reese promised the movie will deliver in the romance department.

“The sex scene in the movie is super sexy,” she added. “It’s really sexy.”

“Water for Elephants” hits theaters on April 22.
