Looks like Lindsay Lohan won’t be the only guest-star on the new season of “Ugly Betty.”
Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa will appear in the ABC show’s September 25 premiere, “Betty” star America Ferrera announced on Monday’s “Live with Regis and Kelly.”
The morning show hosts will play themselves in a scene where Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) and Alexis (Rebecca Romijn) arrive on “Live” to promote the new issue of Mode magazine.
The announcement follows the news that Kelly’s soap star husband Mark Consuelos will also be making an appearance on the telenovela-inspired show, guest-starring on the upcoming season’s third episode, according to TV Guide.
Lohan, who appeared in last season’s finale as Betty’s high school rival, will reprise her role in five episodes this season. The show has a long history of high-profile cameos, including Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell.
