Rep: Ashley Jensen Not Leaving ‘Ugly Betty’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption ‘Ugly Betty’ star Ashley JensenActress Ashley Jensen is still in mode at Mode.

Despite reports that actress is leaving the ABC comedy series, a rep for “Ugly Betty” told Access Hollywood that these reports are “not true.”

On the series Ashley plays Betty’s best work pal, Christina McKinney, who is carrying Wilhelmina Slater and Bradford Meade’s child, thus making her integral to the outlandish and campy plot of the show. Fans will continue to watch Ashley and Betty attempt to keep one step ahead of Wilhelmina and her assistant Marc in the chic hallways of the Meade media empire.

In other “Betty” baby news, as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, series star Ana Ortiz announced last week that she is expecting her first child with husband, Noah Lebenzon, guitarist for the band Half Life.

Betty’s former love interest, Henry, played by actor Chris Gorham, and his wife Anel, welcomed their third child (a girl), last Saturday, People reported.

And yet in even more related “Betty” baby news, Ana’s “Ugly Betty” co-star, Rebecca Romijn, welcomed twin girls with her husband, Jerry O’Connell, on December 28.
