Rep: Aubrey O’Day ‘Doing Well’ After Robbery

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Aubrey O’Day poses at the Sheiki Collections Spring 2009 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion WeekDespite being robbed on Wednesday, pop singer Aubrey O’Day is recovering from the ordeal that left her high fashion-less.

“Aubrey is doing well,” her rep told Us Weekly. “She is just a bit shaken up from the day’s chaos and is grateful that she and those around her were unharmed.”

On Wednesday while making her way to film a segment for the TV Guide Channel, O’Day was allegedly robbed while walking down an alley in LA, TMZ reported.

The former Danity Kane singer said the assailant snatched what she was carrying.

“Someone ran behind me and stole everything I was holding,” she said, adding that a pricy Zac Posen dress was among the stolen items.

Without her Zac Posen and a pending scheduled taping, O’Day said she was forced to wear something provided by the TV Guide Channel.

Luckily, O’Day’s beloved teacup Maltese – who often accompanies the singer on the red carpet – was unharmed. O’Day’s makeup artist was reportedly holding Ginger at the time.
