Locklear Not Engaged, Rep Says

The former “Melrose Place” beauty is not engaged to Wagner, a rep for Locklear confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Earlier this week, online reports began to circulate suggesting the couple was set to walk down the aisle after Wagner had popped the question.
Not so, says the rep.
“There was no proposal and no they are not engaged. It is a made up story,” the rep told Access.
The erroneous reports claimed Wagner had proposed to Locklear on September 25 – her 49th birthday.
Locklear, 49, and Wagner, 51, have been dating for more than three years.
In September, the actress had filed paperwork with the courts to legally restore her last name to Locklear, abandoning the surname Sambora after her 12-year marriage to rocker Richie Sambora.
The couple filed for divorce in 2006. The divorce was finalized in April 2007.
