Rep: Reese Witherspoon & Jake Gyllenhaal Not Engaged

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption  Reese Witherspoon and Jake GyllenhaalDespite reports of their impending nuptials, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are not headed down the aisle, according to the actress' rep.

"It's absolutely false," Reese's rep says of the rumored engagement, as reported in Us Weekly. "There’s not one ounce of truth to it."

Though the acting powerhouse couple is not engaged, they have reportedly been seeing one another for months. Last November, the couple was spotted vacationing together in California's Napa wine country.

Reese was previously married actor Ryan Phillippe. She filed for divorce from Ryan on in 2006.

Jake has never been married.
