Report: Christina Aguilera Bringing ‘Bionic’ To ‘American Idol’ Finale

MTV reported that Christina herself confirmed the appearance on Star 94 FM radio in Atlanta.

“I am on the finale show of ‘American Idol,’” she reportedly said, adding that a world tour would follow in July.

The finale airs on May 26 – Christina’s latest album, “Bionic,” is due on June 8.

In the interview, Christina also reportedly addressed talk that Lady Gaga has ripped her off – or vice versa.

“No rip-offs, we’re inspired by different things,” she said. “I love that there are newcomers… they’re risk-takers. I always had the guts and passion to do things like that.”

Fans will have the chance to compare for themselves – Gaga is heading back to “Idol” on May 5.
