On Wednesday morning (Paris Time), French newspaper Le Parisien reported that the Galaxy soccer star has approved a deal for a one-and-a-half year contract with the soccer team Paris St. Germain. The paper reported he will officially sign the contract this coming January.

According to the paper, Beckham is expected to earn 800,000 Euros a month, with additional income coming from endorsements.

Beckham’s rep, however, told ESPN.com that things are still up in the air.

“There has been no agreement reached with any club. Any talk of a deal is premature. David is yet to make a decision,” the rep told the sports site.

Britain’s Daily Mail reported that the English soccer star’s contract with the LA Galaxy ends on December 31, and reports have surfaced in recent weeks that David and Victoria are looking for new schools for their school-aged children — Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9 and Cruz, 6, in France.

Posh and Becks moved from Madrid to Los Angeles in 2007 with great fanfare, including a “Welcome to America” party attended by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
