Rihanna’s bold, cutting edge style has always stood out on the red carpet. From casual to couture, Rihanna never shies away from inventing — and then re-inventing — her sense of personal style, winning her the title of being an Access Style Star.

Within a single week, Rihanna can span the spectrum of style. At the Pepsi Sugar Bowl Fan Jam, Rihanna performed in an eye-catching, asymmetrical black and white bodysuit. The look couldn’t have been more different to the elegant white Elie Saab gown that she wore to the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, just five days earlier. And who can forget the couture Victor & Rolf architecturally inspired dress in which she walked the red carpet for Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party?

Rihanna can pretty much write her own ticket, ever since her jump from middle-of-the-pack R&B singer to musical superstar in the summer of 2007, with one little song, about her "Umbrella." Discovered by music producer Evan Rogers on her native Barbados when she was just 15, the gorgeous island girl has gone on to work with some of the best in the business including Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z. Her third album, "Good Girl Gone Bad," has had hit-after-hit, marking her launch into the big leagues.

Her 2006 single “S.O.S.” was her first to hit the #1 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and she doesn't show the slightest intent of slowing down in her pursuit of becoming queen of the music world.
