The "50 shades of grey" trailer featured a lot of titillating moments that whetted the appetite of fans in anticipation of the film's release. Nestled within the suggested sex is british pop singer turned actress Rita ora. This movie will change her life, but getting the gig was not easy. Being new to the world of auditioning may be a reoccurring thing, but I didn't know there were so many call backs. Eight of them, to be exact. While we only get that glimpse of her in a dinner scene in a trailer, Rita probably should have expected that kind of scrutiny in landing the part of Christian grey's sister. I was a bit stressed out until the audition process. When I got that phone call, I was so happy, you know. I couldn't wait to tell everybody. The british singer's single "I will never let you down" has some 37 million hits on youtube. She also has a single out with iggy. Aside from a small part in "Fast and the furious 6," she has little in the way of experience. Add in having to master an American accent. It's quite a bit difficult. I have to have someone in my ear onset telling me what to say before I said it. I was so nervous. I forgot everything that I learned. Rita credits star Dakota Johnson helping her get through it all. She's a great friend of mine. She really eased me. She was really nice to take care of me. As for all the noise over star Jamie Dornan's clean-shaven face, Rita has a confession. I'm always a beard fan. I like the feeling of scruffy scruffy. A nice little baby shave is not bad either. A nice soft touch like a baby's bum. But in the movie, he looks amazing. And yes, Rita is a fan of the books. She's read them all and as her own book-to-movie comparison. Without spilling too much, I'll be like, what are you doing? The movie is as close as it can visually be. The actors are phenomenal in this. I'm just really honored to be on the same wave length as them. It's pretty awesome. I'm still thinking about, what am I going to wear at the premiere? And who she'll bring with her. I think I bring a fan or something. It will be a nice experience for someone to come with me.
