Robert Pattinson: ‘I Would Like To Go On A Date,’ Not Looking To ‘Settle’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Robert Pattinson smiles as he talks ‘Eclipse’ with Access Hollywood, Los Angeles, June 12, 2010 “Twilight Saga” star Robert Pattinson, who is rumored to be romantically linked to co-star Kristen Stewart, says he’s still up for romantic encounters.

“I would like to go on a date,” Robert said in an interview with Jenna Bush Hager on NBC’s “Today” show on NBC on Monday. “I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore.”

As for the idea of marriage, the 24-year-old actor said he doesn’t like the idea of “settling.”

“I don’t think settling down should be the same thing as getting married,” Hollywood’s hottest vampire explained. “I mean, I guess settling down just means not sleeping with everybody. I don’t like the idea of having to settle, though.”

Robert will be back on the big screen with Kristen and Taylor Lautner in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which opens in theaters on June 30.
