Robin Thicke Defends Miley Cyrus - 'She's A Wonderful Girl'

Robin Thicke sang the praises of Miley Cyrus on Wednesday night, weeks after he and the 20-year-old pop star made headlines for their MTV Video Music Awards performance to his hit, “Blurred Lines.”

“Miley and I had a blast,” Robin told Access Hollywood’s Scott Mantz at the “Baggage Claim” premiere on Wednesday, when asked about Miley’s recent comments to Rolling Stone, where she suggested there was a “double standard,” because no one was talking “about the man behind” her twerking at the awards’ show.

“I wouldn’t change anything,” Robin added, as he hit the red carpet for his wife, Paula Patton’s, film premiere in Los Angeles.

Robin went on to praise not just his MTV VMA singing and foam finger waving dance partner, but the whole Cyrus clan.

“She’s a wonderful girl with a wonderful family,” he continued.

Since their VMAs performance, Miley made more headlines with her music video for “Wrecking Ball,” which featured the former Disney star sans clothing atop a wrecking ball. And Robin, who had his own “Blurred Lines” video banned from YouTube because it was deemed too sexy, is proud to see how Miley is doing.

“She’s an entertainer, and she’s got everyone on the edge of their seat, so I’m very happy for her,” he said. “All I did was show up and sing. She knew what she was doing, we had a great time.”
