Jermaine Paul was crowned Season 2’s winner on Tuesday night’s “The Voice,” and 33-year-old rising star said he owes his success to his “Voice” coach, Blake Shelton.
“I picked the right guy,” a beaming Jermaine told Access Hollywood of Blake, following “The Voice” season finale in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “Blake has been there every step of the way. [There’s] something about a coach, you know, I’ve played sports in my life and the thing you look for in a coach is that he doesn’t — he just lets the players play, he gives them advice, tidbits, but if you’re a player, you should know how to play the game.”
